Day 2 Siwa Desert Adventure & Camping

After enjoying a delightful breakfast at your hotel, your second day begins with a deep dive into the historical and spiritual heart of the oasis. We’ll start by exploring the ancient necropolis of the Mountain of the Dead (Gebel al-Mawta), home to fascinating rock-cut tombs.

Next, you’ll visit the nearby Gebel al-Dakrour, a mountain known for its unique natural healing properties. The highlight of the morning is a visit to the globally famous Temple of the Oracle (Temple of Amun), where Alexander the Great once sought his destiny. A delicious lunch at Abdo restaurant will be served, offering a chance to savor more local Siwan flavors.

The afternoon marks the beginning of your exhilarating Siwa desert safari. We’ll journey deep into the vast Great Sand Sea in a thrilling Jeep 4×4 ride. Prepare for an adrenaline-pumping experience as you try sandboarding down the massive dunes. The adventure continues with a refreshing swim in a serene freshwater lake nestled within the dunes, followed by a relaxing dip in the therapeutic Bir Wahed hot spring.
