The first stop is the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that reshaped Egypt’s landscape and created Lake Nasser.
After that, you will take a short, scenic boat ride to the island of Agilkia to visit the Philae Temple. Dedicated to the Goddess Isis, this temple is widely considered one of the most beautiful and romantic sites in all of Egypt.
We conclude our morning tour at the Unfinished Obelisk, located in the ancient granite quarries. Here you can see exactly how the massive monuments of the Pharaohs were carved directly from the bedrock.
After the tour, we will drive you to the Coral 2 Nile cruise for check-in. Enjoy a fresh, delicious lunch on board as you settle into your cabin and take in the river views.

Day 2: The Grandeur of Abu Simbel & The Double Temple of Kom Ombo
Your second day is an unforgettable journey deep into the heart of Ancient Egypt’s architectural power.
The morning begins with an early coffee at the cruise bar. Then we depart for the legendary Abu Simbel. The drive takes approximately four hours. It includes a coffee break on the way to stretch your legs and enjoy the desert sunrise.
Upon arrival, prepare to be awed by the Great Temple of Ramses II, where four colossal statues guard the entrance. After exploring the grand interior, you’ll visit the nearby Temple of Nefertari and Hathor. This beautiful monument was built by Ramses II for his most beloved queen.
After taking in these masterpieces, we drive back to Aswan to enjoy a relaxing lunch on board the cruise. As you eat, the ship will start sailing towards Kom Ombo, offering you the perfect opportunity to watch the timeless scenery of the Nile banks pass by from the sundeck.
Upon arrival in Kom Ombo city, we will walk to the Temple of Kom Ombo. This is Egypt’s only double temple, uniquely dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder.
Your guided tour will highlight the unique carvings that make this site famous, including the Ancient Egyptian calendar. You will also see the fascinating surgical instruments and depictions of Cleopatra I and II.
We will conclude the visit at the Crocodile Museum, which houses well-preserved mummies of these sacred reptiles.
The evening continues as we return to the ship for a delicious dinner. Meanwhile, we sail to Edfu city for an overnight stay.
Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 3: The Temple of Horus & Sailing Through the Esna Lock
Day three is a blend of immersive mythology and the relaxing rhythm of life on the Nile.
Your morning begins with an early departure before breakfast to visit the magnificent Temple of Horus in Edfu. Recognized as the best-preserved temple in all of Egypt, this sandstone masterpiece serves as a giant “history book” carved in stone.
As you wander through its towering pylons and halls, your guide will reveal the daily rituals. You will learn about complex Egyptian mythology and the incredible talent and engineering that allowed this temple to remain nearly intact for thousands of years. You will see the epic battle between Horus and Set depicted in vivid detail across the walls.
After exploring the temple, we head back to the cruise for breakfast. The rest of the day is yours to unwind. As we sail all day long to Luxor, take time to enjoy the sun deck, dip in the pool, or watch the lush green banks of the Nile drift by.
One of the highlights of the afternoon is crossing the Esna Lock. You can watch from the deck as the ship enters the lock and the water level is adjusted.
It is a fascinating experience to see how the cruise is getting lowered several meters to equalize with the river level, allowing it to complete its way to Luxor.
As the sky turns gold, you will reach Luxor by sunset, arriving just in time to see the “World’s Greatest Open-Air Museum” illuminated. The day concludes with a final gala dinner and an overnight on board in Luxor.
Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 4: Luxor West Bank Treasures & The Grandeur of Karnak
Your final day on the Coral 2 Nile cruise is dedicated to the world-renowned wonders of Luxor. After a final breakfast on board, you will check out and keep your luggage safely in your private car as you head out to explore the “City of the Dead” and the “City of the Living.”
The tour begins on the Luxor West Bank, where you will visit the striking Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Built into the soaring limestone cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, this terraced masterpiece honors Egypt’s most successful female pharaoh.
Nearby, you will stop for a photo at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood as silent sentinels for over 3,400 years.
Next, we visit the most iconic archaeological site in the world: the Valley of the Kings. This royal necropolis is home to the hidden tombs of the New Kingdom pharaohs.
Your entry includes a visit to three tombs, where you can marvel at the vibrant colors and hieroglyphics that remain remarkably preserved.
For a truly unique experience, you may choose to add one or two more tombs (extra charge), such as the legendary Tomb of Tutankhamun or the incredibly detailed Tomb of Seti I.
After a morning of discovery, enjoy a freshly cooked lunch at a local restaurant, savoring authentic Egyptian flavors before crossing back to the East Bank.
We conclude your journey at the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious site ever built. Walk through the forest of giant pillars in the Great Hypostyle Hall and admire the towering obelisks that define this open-air museum.
Following this final tour, we will transfer you to Luxor Airport, the train station, or your hotel. This marks the end of your unforgettable Nile cruise itinerary.
