Day 1: Arrival in Luxor & The Grand Temples of the East Bank
Welcome to Luxor, the magnificent ancient city of Thebes! Your 4-night Nile cruise adventure begins with a seamless soft check-in at your luxurious cruise ship, your floating sanctuary for the next four days. Karnak Temple Complex will be your fist stop on Luxor east bank. In fact, the temple is the largest religious building ever constructed. Day 2: The Royal Necropolis of Luxor & Sailing to Edfu
Your day begins with a delightful breakfast on board as your cruise ship remains docked in Luxor. This morning, you will visit the legendary West Bank of Luxor, a necropolis for pharaohs and a site of unparalleled historical importance. Your tour of the top Luxor attractions includes the Valley of the Kings, where you will delve into the famous burial grounds of New Kingdom pharaohs.
Within the tombs of the Valley of the Kings, the walls are covered in elaborate and detailed funerary texts and ritual scenes, all intended to guide the deceased pharaoh through the underworld and into the afterlife. A significant portion of these murals is dedicated to a collection of spells and illustrations known as the Book of the Dead, and Book of Amduat (or Book of Imyduat). After your tour, you will return to the cruise for a delicious breakfast. Then, the cruise will set sail towards Kom Ombo, offering stunning views of the Nile’s banks as you glide peacefully downriver.
Kom Ombo Temple (The Double Temple) is your next stop upon docking at Kom Ombo. Day 4: The Colossal Temples of Abu Simbel & Aswan attractions
Your day begins with an early morning adventure to the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel temples. Your guide will accompany you on a scenic three-and-a-half-hour drive, including a brief break for coffee, as you travel through the desert to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Start your visit with the Great Temple of Ramesses II, a marvel of ancient architecture carved directly into a mountainside. Here, you will witness the four colossal statues of Ramesses II himself, each over 20 meters tall, seated on his throne at the entrance. Actually, the temple is dedicated to the sun gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah, as well as the deified Ramesses himself.
Adjacent to the great temple, you will explore the small Temple of Nefertari. This elegant temple is a beautiful tribute from Ramesses II to his beloved Great Royal Wife, Queen Nefertari, and to the goddess Hathor. The facade features statues of Ramesses and Nefertari of equal size, a rare and symbolic gesture highlighting the queen’s importance.
After capturing stunning photos of the temples and the vast expanse of Lake Nasser, you will begin your journey back to Aswan. Upon your return, a delicious lunch will be waiting for you on board the cruise ship.

In the afternoon, you will start a tour of Aswan’s most famous attractions. You will first witness the Aswan High Dam, a modern marvel of engineering from the 1960s that has profoundly shaped Egypt’s landscape and economy.
Next, you will take a short boat ride to Agilkia Island to visit Philae Temple, a temple dedicated to the goddess Isis that was totally moved to its current location to save it from floodwaters.
