Itinerary

Day 1 Luxor Nile Cruise

Start your 4 Nights Dahabiya Nile River Cruise Luxor to Aswan when you meet your guide at Luxor Airport, Luxor Railway Station, or Luxor Hotel. The Karnak temple of Amun will be your visit on the Luxor east bank, where you will discover the biggest temple in the world. Walk through the temple jetty to reach the harbor and the Avenue of Sphinxes to enter the temple through Nectanebo Pylon.

Once you are in, you will start your amazing tour with the triple Barque Chapel of Seti II, the Taharqa Column, and Karnak Temple Barque Chapel of Ramesses III. Also, you can visit Hatshepsut Red Chapel, White Chapel of Senusret I, and the Ptah temple.

Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut

In fact, the temple was Hatshepsut’s message to the world that peace and cooperation were her mission. Do not miss the Anubis chapel, the Hathor chapel, agriculture scene,s and the Punt expedition.

Colossi of Memnon

End your West Bank tour with the huge Memnon Colossi of Amenhotep III from the 18th dynasty. The statues are still there after the temple collapsed because of the 27 BC earthquake. Here, they practiced the ritual of the opening of the mouth before they buried the king inside his tomb.

Back to the Dahabiya cruise for lunch, and sail towards Esna lock to cross to Edfu.

Day 3: Edfu

Day 4: Kom Omo, Aswan

The temple of Kom Ombo is not in very good condition, but it has unique scenes that were never repeated anywhere else. Kom Ombo temple was one of the biggest healing centers in the past. Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroreis were worshiped here side by side, and their fans came to the temple day after day.

Marvel at the ancient calendar, pharmacy, clinics, and surgical instruments. Also, the temple has some astronomical scenes, an amazing Nilometer, and gods like Seshat, Isis, Sekhmet, and many more.

After you enjoy your visit, you can visit the Crocodile Museum before you head back to the Dahabiya to sail towards Aswan.

Day 5, Disembarkation
