Itinerary

Day 1, Luxor

Your archeologist guide will meet you at Luxor airport, hotel, host or wherever you are in Luxor to start your Egypt luxury tours aboard Nayera Dahabiya Nile Cruise. Karnak temple complex on Luxor east bank will be your first stop

Karnak temple

You are about to discover the biggest temple all over the world took more than 2500 years to be completed. A lot of Pylons, shrines, Obelisks, statutes, hieroglyphic carvings, afterlife scenes, religion and more. Learn the history of more than 30 pharaohs starting with Middle Kingdom till the Greco Roman Era. Luxor temple by night

From the biggest temple in the world to the elegant Luxor temple dedicated to Amun ka.mut.f, the creator god and one of the Ogdoad of Hermopolis. Day 2, Luxor Esna Edfu

Enjoy your tasty breakfast and coffee on board before you start your Luxor day tours to Luxor west bank.

Colossi of Memnon

You will start your tour with the huge statues of Amenhotep III once decorated the entrance of the biggest Mortuary temple on west bank. Listen to your guide about the Mummification and Opening of Mouth ritual practiced in that temple in the past. Marvel at the huge statues of Amenhotep 16m high and 650 tons each.

Hatshepsut temple

Proceed with your guide to the Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut and on the way, you will see Valley of Nobles, Ramesseum, and Tausret colossi. Once you reach Hatshepsut temple in Deir El Bahari, you will be surprised by the amazing view of the mountain, and the tombs of the Queen’s men.

Day 3, Edfu Kom Ombo

Once you are in Edfu depending on the Lock time, you will start your visit with short horse carriage ride to Horus temple.

Day 4, Kom Ombo Aswan

After lunch and on the way to Aswan, you will join your guide to visit the only double temple in Egypt, Kom Ombo temple. The temple mostly 9n ruins but what you see here, you will never see anywhere else. In fact, there are unique scenes here like the Ancient Calendar, Surgical instrument, Sanatorium, Nilometer, and the unique figure of goddess Isis in the shape of Sekhmet, the lioness.

Back to the Nayera Dahabiya Cruise and sail towards Aswan.

Day 5, Aswan disembarkation

Philae temple

After short ride with motorboat between Aswan Dam and Aswan High Dam, you will reach the old port of Philae temple on its new location on Agilkia island. Then, discover the Coptic church inside the temple, the last hieroglyphic texts, the god of Nile Myth, and how the crocodile brought Osiris on its back from Abydos till Begah Island.
