Aswan High Dam
The Aswan High Dam was built to control the flood and generate electricity capacity to each edge of Egypt. actually, Aswan Low Dam was built first in 1898 but was not enough to control the annual flooding. So, the High Dam was built starting 1960 and was opened in the spring of 1971.
