Day 1, Arrival Cairo

Welcome to the land of Pharaohs! Your tour begins when you are greeted by our representative at Cairo airport who will assist you through immigration and customs formalities. After you have collected your luggage, we will then take you in our deluxe vehicle to check-in at your hotel and free time till next day

Day 3, Cairo Alexandria Luxor

 Pompey Pillar

Its located on western section of the city of Alexandria and has nothing to do with Roman General Gaius Pompey. The Pillar were built during the reign of emperor Diocletian in Egypt around 298 ADS.  Now, the pillar standing on the top of the Serapium temple dedicated to Serapis, the head of the Alexandrian divine triad during the Greco – Roman period

Catacomb of Kom El Shoqafa

Explore the unique tomb which is the largest Roman Cemetery which is consisting of three levels cut in the rock under the ground level. Actually, the Catacombs was discovered accidently by a donkey on September 28, 1900. there are a lot to see here like the Rotunda, Triclinium hall, Banquet Hall, and theCaracalla Hall. Over all, the tomb is an perfect example for its Hellenistic, Egyptian, and early Imperial Roman architecture featuring.

Alexandria Library

The Library  was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world and the history of the old and modern one is quite fascinating. Actually, the old one was built in the 3rd century BC during the reign of Ptolemy II Philadelphus. It was part of a larger research institution called the Mouseion. But, the the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern library and cultural center, was inaugurated in 2002. you will enjoy a guided tour inside the Library to discver its diffrent sections and Museums.

The Citadel is an amazing Islamic defensive strongholds not only in Egypt but also along the Mediterranean Sea coast similar to that of Saladin in Cairo. It is located on the western end of Alexandria at the entrance of the eastern harbor on the eastern point of Pharos Island. In fact, it was built by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay from the Burji Mamluk dynasty. Day 5, Luxor Edfu Kom Ombo

Edfu temple

The temple of Edfu is the best preserved temple in Egypt and the 2nd biggest after Karnak. It was consecrated to Horus Behdity and its famous for one of the ancient Egyptian Myths, the struggle between Horus and Seth.

 Aswan High Dam

The Aswan High Dam was built to control the flood and generate electricity capacity to each edge of Egypt. actually, Aswan Low Dam was built first in 1898 but was not enough to control the annual flooding. So, the High Dam was built starting 1960 and was opened in the spring of 1971.
