Itinerary

You will meet with your guide at the lobby of your El Gouna hotel after picking up your breakfast boxes at the reception. Then, start your El Gouna excursions to Dendera Temple and Abydos Temple with a short break on the way for breakfast and using the toilets.

The Abydos temple in Sohag is one of the most colorful temples in all of Egypt, started by Seti I, and it was completed by Ramesses II and Mernptah. The temple has some scenes that still confuse most of the people, like the Abydos helicopter, submarine, and airplane.

Also, the temple has a unique 7 shrines for Horus, Isis, Osiris, Amun Ra, Ra-Horakhty, Ptah, and Seti I as gods. In fact, the temple has the Abydos Kings list, which is a great source for the Egyptian kings from Meni till Seti himself.
