Itinerary

Early departure to Hurghada airport to fly to Cairo. Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting for you in front of the arrival hall at Cairo airport to start the Egypt attractions.

Grand Egyptian Museum

This tour is designed mainly to spend as much as you can at the Grand Egyptian Museum. So, the Pyramids tour will be around two hours, and the rest at the Grand Egyptian Museum, including lunch.

The tour starts even before you enter the GEM, as you will be face-to-face with the first and only hanging obelisk in the world. Moreover, the cartouche bearing the name of King Ramesses II can be seen on the base of the Obelisk.

Proceed to the façade of the GEM Museum, you will see the cartouches of the Pyramids builders such as Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure. Also, Snefru and Pharaohs from the New Kingdom.

Once you enter the museum, the Great Ramesses will welcome you, and then you will start the Grand staircase where you will discover the meaning of its design. Start from the Kingship with some huge statues of the famous kings from Old, Middle and New Kingdom.

Then, you will discover the king’s mission in life, from building temples to the gods, worship the gods who help him to keep the harmony and protect the country.

After that, upon his death, he will be mummified and then buried in a sarcophagus before they put him inside the pyramid. From there, his soul will continue the trip to the sky to be with the good souls on the Northern side.
