Lunch & Sailing

After your visit to the Temple of Horus, you’ll return to your Dahabiya by carriage for a freshly prepared lunch on board.

Following lunch, the Dahabiya will set sail once more, gliding along the Nile towards Esna. You’ll spend a tranquil afternoon relaxing on the sun deck, watching the riverbanks drift by. Your day of exploration begins on the West Bank, the famous “Land of the Dead.” You’ll journey to the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial site of the New Kingdom pharaohs. Here, you’ll delve into the richly decorated tombs and learn about the beliefs and rituals of ancient Egypt.
